Meet Our Massage Therapists

BethBeth

I am my happiest when I am doing massage and bodywork. I have a deep love and respect for the human body and for the way it works, especially as it relates to the mind. All outer conditions begin in our thought processes and belief systems and the body is like a road map that helps us understand why the body is doing what it is doing. Working with different massage modalities and energy systems as in acupressure to educate and promote healing is what gives my work purpose and joy.

I received my training in Santa Barbara Ca. from some of the finest teachers around. For ten years I have practiced Deep Tissue, Swedish, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Reflexology and now Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. I am very blessed to work at an occupation that I truly love. MAT#8153

Lisa

I received my first Massage Therapy certificate from Cypress Health Institute in 1991. I was just a college kid and ended up losing interest in Physical Therapy and embracing Massage.  Over the years I've worked in Santa Cruz, California, Park City, Utah, I became a resident of the Big Island in 1994, and was issued my Hawaii Massage Therapy License in 1997.

I'm a long time therapist who still integrates new therapies and who's work is still evolving. Passion for Massage and a genuine interest in the clients well being is a great combination. We can unlock tired muscles, and relax our way out of your situation together. Whether it's due to stress, over use, health problems, repetitive motion, there is always benefit in deep relaxation. Let's start you on the road towards optimum health and vitality, or compliment the journey you have already started.  I'm looking forward to meeting you. Aloha Nui Loa, with warmest aloha, Lisa J, LMT MAT#4487

Aloha, and komo mai, my name is Kristin, a resident of the Hawaiian Islands since May of 1998. I was born and raised in Minnesota, obtained three years of my undergrad degree in business, and human resources with Metropolitan State University, while working for a Fortune 500 company as a recruiter. Hawaii was a yearly destination as a vacation, and after returning back to Minnesota, decided I needed to get back to Hawaii as soon as possible. I received my Massage certification from Northern Lights School of Massage Therapy, in Minneapolis, MN, and four days after the graduation moved to Oahu.

I relocated to Kona after selling my Day Spa in Honolulu of which I successfully owned, and operated for the past 10 years. I am also a kickboxing instructor and have my purple belt in Taekwondo. I have been trained in Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Passive Stretching, Injury Recovery, Pregnancy massage and Aromatherapy. I really believe in catering each massage to each individual session. My expertise is in helping you to achieve relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation with the type of massage and pressure you would like. Laura

LauraI received my massage training at The Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado. I graduated in 2004 and moved to the Colorado Springs area where I worked at a upscale spa in a golf course community. My husband and I moved to the Big Island in January of 2009 to get away from the world and celebrate our new marriage. I've fallen in love with the Hawaiian culture and the beauty of the islands. I specialize in Sports & Orthopedic Massage as well as Prenatal & Postpartum Massage, but have been trained in many different massage modalities. I look forward to helping you relieve stress and soreness! God bless. MAT#12260

Daniel Daniel

My journey as a healer began on the island of Maui in 2000. Maui allowed me to develop, blossom and flourish as a healer. My natural gifts and talents came forth with the help of guidance and mentoring from some of the best teachers in the islands. I attended a 600-hour masso-therapy training program with Daniel Fowler’s Lomi Lomi ‘Oluea. In spite of the abundance of excellent therapists working in the field of massage and bodywork today, I personally do not treat my work as merely an "occupation". Helping people with their wellness, stress-management and overall health is more than just a vocation for me. It is truly my calling and every treatment I give is infused with an element of the Sacred.

My vision and mission for this--my life's work--is constantly evolving and growing in positive ways, not unlike the islands themselves. As part of my extensive training, I am certified in a specialty call Aqua Cranial-therapy, which involves work done primarily in the Ocean. I hope you'll try a water session with me to really experience the best of Hawaii. I am blessed with being able to offer a wide variety of treatments, making sure you receive the exact style and type of massage and/or subtle-energy session that you desire. I am particularly adept at assisting people with pain-management and recovering from injury. MAT #7205
